毎ラウンドまず短い和声進行が調を確立（このゲームでは常にハ長調）。次にテスト音が鳴り、音階度数を選びます。簡単は1 (Do), 3 (Mi), 5 (Sol)のみ——最も安定し識別しやすい3音。標準で2 (Re), 4 (Fa)を追加。難しいで導音7 (Ti)を含む全7度数。これはAlain Benbassatの機能的聴覚訓練——抽象的な音程識別より「耳コピ」能力に直接転移すると研究は示唆します。
