Cara Bermain

Catur Cina dimainkan di papan 10×9 dengan sungai di tengah. Setiap pemain memiliki 16 bidak: satu Jenderal, dua Penasihat, dua Gajah, dua Kuda, dua Kereta, dua Meriam, dan lima Prajurit. Jenderal harus tetap di istana. Gajah tidak bisa menyeberangi sungai. Kuda bisa diblokir. Meriam harus melompati satu bidak untuk menangkap. Tujuannya adalah menyekakkan Jenderal lawan.
