How to Play
You have six attempts to guess a secret five-letter word. Type a valid word and press Enter to submit your guess. After each guess, the letter tiles change color: green means the letter is correct and in the right spot, yellow means the letter is in the word but in the wrong position, and gray means the letter is not in the word at all. Use these clues to narrow down the answer before your guesses run out.
Controls
Type letters on your keyboard or tap the on-screen keyboard to enter a guess. Press Enter to submit and Backspace to delete a letter.
Tips & Strategy
Start with a word that contains common vowels and consonants, such as CRANE or SLATE. Pay attention to yellow letters — repositioning them is key. Eliminate as many letters as possible in your first two guesses.
