Stroop Test

Click the button that matches the ink color of the word — not what the word says. You have 60 seconds!

Example:

RED

→ Click "Blue" (the ink is blue)

How to Play

A color word (like 'RED' or 'BLUE') appears on screen, but it is printed in a different ink color. Your job is to click the button that matches the ink color — not the word itself. For example, if the word 'GREEN' is written in red ink, you click 'Red'. The brain naturally wants to read the word, so overriding that instinct is the challenge. Answer as many questions as possible within 60 seconds.

Controls

Click or tap one of the four colored buttons at the bottom of the screen to submit your answer. There is no keyboard shortcut — each round requires a direct button press.

Tips & Strategy

Focus your gaze on the color of the letters, not on reading the word. Some players find it helpful to slightly blur their eyes or look at the outline of the letters. Build a rhythm — the faster you answer correctly, the higher your score.
