Sichuan Mahjong (血战到底)

How to Play

Four players use three suits only (characters 万, bamboo 条, dots 筒, 1–9 ×4 = 108 tiles); there are no winds or dragons and no chow (you cannot take a discard to make a run). First, each player must void a suit (定缺): you may only win with tiles of the other two suits, and must discard all of your voided suit. On your turn you draw a tile and discard one; you may declare a concealed or added kong (杠), or win by self-draw (自摸). When someone discards, others may pong (碰, take a pair to make a triplet), kong, or win (胡). A winning hand is four sets (triplets — runs only from your own draws) plus a pair, or seven pairs (七对). 'Bloody to the end' (血战到底) means play continues after a win until three players have won; one discard can win for several players at once (一炮多响). Scoring uses fan (番) multipliers: pong-pong hand, single suit (清一色), seven pairs, self-draw, and kongs all raise the payout.

Controls

First tap a suit to void (定缺). On your turn, tap a tile in your hand to discard it, or use the Self-draw / Kong buttons. When another player discards, Pong / Kong / Pass buttons appear if you can claim it (winning is automatic). In single-player you play three AI; in multiplayer, create or join a room and empty seats are filled with AI.

Tips & Strategy

Discard your voided suit early — you can't win while holding it. Keep tiles that connect (like 3-4 waiting on 2 or 5) and avoid isolated terminals. Pong to speed toward a pong-pong hand or to deny opponents. Going for a single suit (清一色) or seven pairs pays much more, but is slower and riskier.
