Niu Niu (斗牛)

How to Play

Each player is dealt 5 cards. Card points: A=1, J/Q/K=10, others face value. You have a 'bull' if any 3 of your cards sum to a multiple of 10; the remaining two cards' total mod 10 is your bull value (Niu 1–9, or Niu Niu if it's 10). Special hands beat Niu Niu: Five Small Bull (all cards ≤5 and total ≤10), Five Face (all J/Q/K), and Bomb (four of a kind). Each round: players first grab to be the banker (bid 0–4); the highest bid becomes banker. The other players (farmers) then place a bet (1/2/3/5×). Hands are revealed and the banker compares against each farmer — the higher bull wins, ties go to the banker. The payout is base × bet × banker-bid × the winning hand's bull multiplier (higher bulls pay more).

Controls

When it's your turn in the grab phase, choose how much to bid for banker (or pass). In the bet phase, farmers pick a stake. Everything else is automatic. In single-player you play against AI; in multiplayer, create or join a room and empty seats are filled with AI.

Tips & Strategy

Only grab the banker aggressively with a strong hand (Niu 7+ or better) — as banker you face everyone. As a farmer, bet big only when your hand is strong. Remember the multipliers: Niu Niu and the special hands pay several times the stake, so a strong banker hand is very profitable.
