Gomoku (五子棋)

How to Play

Gomoku is played on a 15×15 board. Black moves first; players alternate placing one stone per turn on any empty point. The first player to form an unbroken line of five stones — horizontally, vertically or diagonally — wins. If the board fills with no five-in-a-row, it's a draw. (This build uses the simple, freestyle rules with no forbidden moves.)

Controls

Tap any empty intersection to place your stone. In vs-AI mode you play Black and move first; in hotseat mode two players share the device and alternate Black and White. Use Restart to play again or Back to change mode.

Tips & Strategy

Watch for your opponent's 'open three' (three in a row with both ends open) — it becomes an unstoppable open four if ignored, so block it. Create double threats (two fours, or a four and an open three) that can't both be blocked. Control the center early.
