Dou Dizhu
How to Play
Dou Dizhu is played by 3 players with one 54-card deck. Each player is dealt 17 cards and 3 cards are set aside. Players bid (1–3) to become the landlord; the highest bidder takes the 3 extra cards and plays alone against the other two (the peasants). Card order: 3<4<…<K<A<2<small joker<big joker. On your turn, beat the previous play with a higher combination of the same type, play a bomb/rocket, or pass. Combinations: single, pair, triple, triple+single, triple+pair, straight (5+), consecutive pairs, airplane (consecutive triples, with optional single/pair wings), four-with-two, bomb (four of a kind, beats anything lower) and rocket (both jokers, the highest). The landlord wins if they empty their hand first; the peasants win if either of them does. Bombs and rockets double the score.
Controls
During bidding, choose how many points to bid or pass. When playing, tap cards to select them and press Play (enabled only for a legal move), or Pass when you can't or won't beat the table. Use Hint to auto-pick a legal play. In single-player you play against two AI. In multiplayer, create or join a room — empty seats are filled with AI to make three players. Dealing, bidding and scoring are handled automatically.
Tips & Strategy
Count the high cards — whoever holds 2s, jokers and bombs controls the game. As landlord, lead from your long suits and keep a bomb for emergencies. As a peasant, cooperate with your partner: don't beat their winning lead, and help them go out. Save rockets and bombs for the moment they swing the round.
